dude. Based on what? A couple photos? The input of the internet? Seriously. Numbers matter and environment matters. So a few F35 look rusty in a few photos. Get overwhelmed.

Interesting to compare this to the PLA mobile mortars
Humvee 2-CT Hawkeye 105mm Mobile Howitzer System

I'm not even talking about the F35 looking rusty, but that the overall F35 fleet has low readiness likely due to over usage and too little maintenance.
First, do the Chinese even publish readiness rates? The US does which is why you can draw whatever conclusions you’re looking for.
Next that’s what happens when they actually fly missions and not serve as hanger queens and show pieces.

next yeah “looks” because the skin of F35 is largely composites not metal. We are really talking paints and even then it’s a double standard as the ones that look rusty are the ones deployed on Naval ships. Where J20 is deployed to ground bases.

This conversation was basically an extension of earlier, about how the J-20 was around ~85-90% readiness according to Patchwork, who we take as a somewhat trusted source.

Lmao, this is basically you just making some unfounded claims/conclusions.

Again, I haven't really brought up the looks, just responded earlier to a comment where you say that the J-20 skin will also be worn, and I simply responded with that maintenaince will done such as changing or fixing the skin, or w/e they do.

My wife just served 29 years in the Canadian military, worked in artillery for 15 years, pretty sure that my judgement is not too altered...

She was baffled by all the nonsenses and new regulations. Just the regulations permitting long hairs, right to use make ups, etc. How do you think all of this ends when loading an Howitzer ?

Some members of your team, cannot be near the gun because of risk of injuries (long hairs) or not wanting to dig because it would break their nails, arguing to have a different set of showers and bathrooms. More work for the rest of the team. Rest of the team cannot argue because it's now discriminathing.

Then the army push for even more of that... 10,000 fewer personnel? If you cannot use them why paying for them ?

It's a giant bag of crabs.
I heard from a couple Canadian Soldiers that you can't swear and yell. They made the Canadian military kinder and gentler. Welp wish me luck because I am applying for RMC.

Are you angling to become an officer in the Canadian Military? Royal Military College based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada if am not mistaken. I just hope that you and all of the Canadian Armed forces won't be used or part of any armed conflict with China over Taiwan. That would be a great tragedy and irony on your part, especially if you're ethnically Chinese when it's your duty and obligation to kill your fellow Chinese in China per your role as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Having said all of that, good luck, be safe, and much success to your endeavor.
