If they go for dorsal inlets they pretty much give up high AOA ability.
Stealth and loitering with a fat body to have multiple big missiles. Using some loyal wingman for dogfights. Looking at it like that it make sense.
To be clear, I don't think it is NGAD, but I do wonder if it is/was an actual prototype they did produce/heavily mock up at some point. If I am not mistaken, that is the only "fictional" aircraft in the video. Seems odd to add it in for no reason, and I think it could be a little more than just a wink at the future.
Anyway, I just like to speculate.

It’s likely a cgi model based off a concept they are floating for the NGAD project. This is as changes have happened in the latest commercial vs its last occurrence in 2020.
