The US is looking to increase 155mm production to around 1.7 million units per year by 2027 along with increases in other weapons and general improvements to arms manufacturing infrastructure.

They will need another war after Ukraine to make some money with them. At least they will be able to replenish stockpiles.

@latenlazy your expert opinion. why F-135 always having problem.

@BoraTas
The F-35 needs more cooling capacity than they spec'd for the engine. Primary cooling capacity is supplied by the engines via a fixed diversion of bypass air. To provide the extra airflow for the necessary cooling capacity they need they've been running the engine harder which hurts its service life.

On the other hand it indicates that the F-35 places high emphasis on power guzzling devices like radar, ew, etc.

One of the thing with F-35 is the use of fuel to cool down a lot of components. Cooling capacity of the engine is quite important to keep stuff at good operating temperature.

They even painted the fuel trucks white because hot-fuel was not perfect for performance of the aircraft. Thermal management was a core problem of the design. Lacking fuel in the tank at the end of a mission could make electronics overheat enough that some systems could be turned off to preserve them. It's a long known problem.
