Jura that’s making a Mountain out of a mole hill.
If that happened the whole world Economic system would collapse. A Quadrillion is a thousand Trillion. Right now US National Debt is at 25.5 Trillion. Getting it up that high would demand an extreme beyond this it would drag every economy into decline of a epic scale seen only in post apocalyptic dystopian Romances. Is that a bad mole hill yes yes it is! Is it Mad Max Thunderdome? No no it’s not.
you may ask yourself a question if you had said the same some time around the beginning of the calendar year 1977

06/30/1976* 620,433,000,000.00

when it was about 1/40 of the current debt (since you don't appear to like what I posted Yesterday at 7:37 AM that is the debt can become forty times bigger)

Government debt doesnt amount to anything as long as you control the primary reserve currency of the world.
Money printer go "Brrrrr"..
If anything an inflation in the US will make its export favourable and imports cumbersome, eventually winning the strategic checkpoint of controlling funds flowing out of the country.
Dont mind going OT.

Jura you are talking about more debt than the GDP of the planet! estimated Global GDP is >100 Trillion.
You can’t have that much debt as it would bankrupt the lenders just as much as the borrowers.

Just as everyone else has No Modern Currency is backed. Money’s value is based solely on the basis of exchange of goods and services.
The the real magic is to keep your economy working. The US is actually a very productive economy, in fact something of an over productive type. Americans are notoriously workaholics. The money printing doesn’t that far out pace the money destruction as old money is withdrawn from circulation, and as every nation on earth is both borrower and lender things have more equilibrium than it seems.

My point was that for @Juras sudden 40 times economic debt spike, every lending nationwould have stopped lending and then had to borrow from more. it would be more borrowing to the point where No one would have credit which is impossible. It would mean the global GDP has hit negative. That’s impossible. It would mean all trade has stopped not just US but all as they all would be foreclosed your talking about a debt 10 fold the size of global GDP. It’s farce, who is supposed to be collecting that debt? Martians?

F-22 jet crashes in Florida
Washington (CNN)A US F-22 stealth fighter jet crashed during a "routine training flight" in Florida Friday, the Air Force said in a statement.

The pilot who has not been named was able to eject from the aircraft safely and was transported to a local hospital on Eglin Air Force Base "for observation and evaluation," according to the Air Force.
"He is currently in stable condition," the statement said.
The crash took place on a training range 12 miles northeast of the base and the Air Force said "there was no loss of life or civilian property damage related to the accident."
The incident is under investigation.
US increases military pressure on China as tensions rise over pandemic
The F-22 is considered one of the most advanced fighter jets in the world.
However the US military only has about 183 of the aircraft in its inventory, according to an Air Force fact sheet.
Each jet costs approximately $143 million and production of F-22s ceased in 2011 as the Pentagon focused instead on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
Given the limited number of F-22s in the military's inventory, the loss of a jet in a crash will have a significant impact.
Several F-22s stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida were damaged during Hurricane Michael in 2018.
Many of the jets were moved to Eglin due to the extensive damage Tyndall suffered during that storm.

"i" is time (please don't comment if you don't get this)

(hope it's visible; I don't care if it's not)

assuming 3% world-GDP growth-rate, 2040 world-GDP would be 80.684*(1+0.03)^23 which is about 159

so? so 100t US debt is doable in foreseeable future in case of a higher US inflation
