In Asia, women commonly wear that to keep the sun off their face to maintain that sought after porcelain paleness or to prevent ageing from UV exposure etc. There's a whole suite of such items online including arm sleeves (for driving) etc.

In a western context, there is a movement of people concerned about and combating facial recognition tech but I highly doubt this is for this purpose here.

Looks like lessons from Ukraine are filtering through since they got those robo doggos carrying Bangalore charges.
Imagine having teams of them charging your position and even one getting close could blow a literal hole in your trench line/defences.
Seems to be semi-autonomous.
What could a $10,000 robot dog do that a $1000 FPV can't? Personally, the only relevant niche I see for small UGVs is in urban warfare.
Carry heavier payloads with longer endurance because it doesn't spend so much power staying in the air. Physics is physics.

Has there been any specs for the military dog released? It certainly doesn't look like any of the commercial ones available.
