These things can be very useful in modern battlefields IMO. EW in Ukraine is making wirelessly controlled UAVs mostly useless these days, and a lot of fiber optic FPV drones are now being used. One of these robot dogs can carry a couple drones as well as their fiber optic cables, and act as a relay station for soldiers staying further back. They would massively improve the range of control, potentially even from around the globe if another, bigger relay station is used in the rear. These things are already commercially available, and for fairly cheap as well, so I wonder why the Russians or Ukrainians haven't bought some to modify them this way.
