It’s these two objects—except the photo has been flipped horizontally, and they don’t look like dead load based on their shape.

Came across this, is it a genuine image of GJ-21 or mock-up thereof on Sichuan?
Unless indicated otherwise, since this one is first seen at the shipyard (and with no record of Sichuan conducting any CATOBAR operations during her first two sea trials), it is likely to be just a mockup.
Why did they cover a mockup in tarp on flight deck though?
Maybe protection from the weather/elements? I don't exactly know.
In the meantime, we do know that the J-35 mockup(s) seen on CV-16 Liaoning right after her MLU did get covered with tarps as well, so it's nothing new.

076 under sea trial, credits to foolsball
There was a thermal satellite photo on April 23rd showing a 260m object in port , which foolsball thought it was the 076, but I'm not as certain.

A recent look at LHD-51 Sichuan at the pier. One Z-8D/L mockup and one GJ-21 mockup are seen on her flight deck. Posted by @欧阳振我86468 on Weibo.
