Twitter is now forced to tolerate spam bots on their social media network as long as they post anti-China messages.

Social Media is just pathetic.

I think it has more to do with the fact that said spam bots generate a lot of retweets and revenue for Twitter.

Not really, they only apologized after getting external pressure. Obviously internally, they had no problem with removing those bots.

I meant the anti-China crowd's audience might boycott them if Twitter looked like they are blocking the bots.
