It’s not just Trump that thinks hindsight is 20/20. Like if Americans had a do-over, they could’ve controlled the outcome in their favor? It’s like a lot of both Democrats and Republicans believe if Nixon didn’t go to China, that would’ve prevented what China has become today and China wouldn’t be the challenger to the Western world order like it is now. The fact is if Nixon didn’t go to China, the US would’ve probably been nuked by the Soviet Union by now. It’s that simple. Nixon going to China is what ended the Cold War. The Soviet Union wouldn’t have gone bankrupt scrambling to counter the US because of the new Sino-US alliance. So would they rather have gotten nuked instead? The US economy grew many times over exploiting slave labor from China. US companies wouldn’t have gotten as rich if they didn’t have China to exploit. The problems they face today in fact would’ve happened earlier because nothing changes that everything they did would’ve cost them more not less meaning lower profit margins and not as much money they would’ve made since Nixon didn’t go to China. Because of the money they made because of China also meant that they didn’t ever see foreign markets as important to them like they are today. Look at how the US being able to sell agricultural goods to China plays life or death to American farmers today. Without China countries like India would still be seen as third world shitholes with no hope. That’s a small example of what it would’ve been like without Nixon going to China.

They don’t admit it out loud because they know people will react negatively to it. China doesn’t do that to the West. They should since they already think China does it to them. You hear what they believe when the US justifies their admitted propaganda campaign against China is a reaction to China’s badmouthing the West. That was Biden’s excuse for setting aside in the US budget $1.6 billion for propaganda against China. So why not?

China should be saying that Europe doesn’t see South Americans as important hence why Ursula and Frederich aren’t even bothering. They think South American countries are going do what they want anyway because of how they think how much South Americans worship them as their gods. That’s what the West does to China interpreting what the Chinese are not saying to others in the context of deception and plot to get others to turn on the Chinese. That’s why China should turn the tables because China has the most powerful form of propaganda… it’s called the truth.

China does have an international propaganda wing but it just produces childish tricks that don‘t work. Just watch Wolf Warrior 2, it‘s just straight up dumb and not to mention offensive to native Africans. You have one scene where a bunch of Africans dance around a fire while having being evacuated to a factory.

i watched some of the state sponsored propaganda accounts from Insta and Facebook. They are just based on a bunch of people, mostly women, who learnt local languages interact with locals mostly talking about how great China is. Not subtle at all.

Then you have cultural differences. In East Asia, it‘s apparently attractive for grown ass women to look and act like babies but it just simply doesn‘t fly anywhere else bar for some anime nerds.

I didn't know a chinese commercial film made for entirely chinese audiance was actually made by the propaganda department for Africans.

Wolf Warrior 2 has nothing to do with propaganda.
