Is this legit? US hospitals gets 50% of their medical supplies and 91% of medications from China? Does anyone know if this claim has any grounds?

Like, if this was true then Trump was right, he is most certainly winning and winning so much that Americans will be asking for him to stop winning so much!

Wow! It's almost as if someone called this a while back. Oh wait, I did just that!

A critical vulerability in modern industrial systems is the "just-in-time" logistics scheme. Minimal input stockpiles are maintained and replacement parts for maintenance are ordered when required. A disruption to either of these and industrial systems will literally tear themselves apart, crippling the entire chain. Failures will cascade to tangential and downstream systems. Pharmaceuticals, energy, manufacturing are all sectors that implement JIT logistics for efficiency. With enough disruption, the US suddenly finds itself in pre-industrial era quality of life. Guess where these inputs and replacement components come from?

o be fair Trump doesn’t even know what he wants either. Kinda hard to negotiate when there are no terms.
I think behind the scenes, the U.S. has a set of demands. Tariff is a tool to get what the U.S. wanted. The most urgent thing is the U.S. debt, so we are trying to extort the world to pay part of the U.S. debt. I have heard 100 year U.S. bonds where no interest will be paid, the holder cannot sell and the bond holder has to pay a fee to own the bond every year. The second thing is decouple from China. Another is to move even more of their industries to the U.S. There is a long list of things that the U.S. can ask for. Given how damaging this will be to the Japanese economy, the Japanese are sensibly playing the waiting game while the the Chinese are still holding strong. The Vietnamese are doing the same. Given that Japan is a U.S. vessel state the trade war gravely impact Vietnam, this says a lot about how bleak the trade war is going for Trump. The clock is running short for the U.S. Once even some degree of decoupling is happening, there will be chaos in the U.S. economy and businesses will be closing by the thousands, from manufacturers that lack parts, to Boeing and farms to retailers. The defense industry will come to a grinding halt with the rare earth ban. The Republicans will lose both houses if this continues even for a few more months. I think Trump will leave office a broken man.

I don't think even Trump knows what his objective is. His main objective is returning the US and the World to a mystical past.

I mean, they could. All they need to do is bomb Europe's, Russia, Japan and China's factories so they can return to a 1945-esque world where the US industrial base was the only one left untouched. Of course, in an ideal world where Russia and China won't glass the US back, that is...

Europe and Japan will just take it in the ass and thank the americans for it, though

On April 17, Economic Revitalization Minister Akazawa began negotiations with the US administration regarding Trump's tariff policies, making Japan the first country to initiate such talks.

Prime Minister Ishiba, appearing on an NHK news program on April 20, stated: "Negotiations where one side benefits at the expense of the other will never serve as a global model. We aim for Japan-US negotiations to become such a model."

He added: "Though time constraints exist, we both recognize that haste makes waste," indicating Japan's commitment to proceeding with deliberate care in the negotiations.
Gekokujo is just amazing ;)

Pentagon turmoil deepens: Top Hegseth aide leaves post

“There is a complete meltdown in the building,” one official said.

I honestly can't tell how credible some of these news are anymore, because there's just so much. And it's all so surreal.
