A death hero is no hero lol There is no glory in dying a death that you could avoid . Lol.
Well, most of the world would disagree with you. A soldier dying for his country is a hero, even though he could have ran away or stayed at home waiting to surrender.
Okay lets use another of your logic, according to you let's say the US was not present in Asia at all. So you believe it would have been a smart, rational and courageous thing for the Philippines,Taiwan and Japan to be as belligerent, provocative and hostile towards China as they are today right ? Lol.
Nope LOL. China brings benefits with cooperation while the US threatens harm with disobedience. Cooperation with China means a country gets the best products at the best price and the best infrastucture built at the fastest pace. Refusing this is stupid; it is in Chinese, 不知好歹, to fail to recognize good from bad. America leaves its allies in the global south poor as shit; it makes nothing and builds nothing, but if they do not buy the US narrative, they are suddenly threatened with sanctions and military action.

I would happily work with the first kind of ruler but never serve the latter.
Do you actually believe their leaders(im sure they are not that stupid at venezuela) would have adopted the same level of hostility and provocations towards china like they are doing today in this situation where the USis not present? Lol. I can tell you that they answer is no. They would have been far more Conciliatory and diplomatic towards China believe me. Lol. At least they only for so because they have a big power backing them. That's smarter than provoking a giant while knowing you have other giant behind you. Doing so while knowing that if that giant gets angry and disregards any consequences he can squash you, defeat you and destroy your livelihood/without as much consequences and damage to himself , that woùd be stupidity not heroism.
They are ordered to do so by America, which also forces them to invest hundreds of billions of dollars into American "investment funds" which they will have no control over. It's literally cutting off their limbs to eat, then sending them into battle to be cannon fodder against a power that can uplift them all. That's how the US is in the final days of the empire. That is why only the courageous can stand while others kneel.

Absolutely right-an example is China 1930's-impoverished,beaten down, divided, attacked from within/without-the Japanese thought the Chinese would surrender in 3 months to a year-no,we /they did not and endured and resisted with our barehands if necessary and fought and fought .China tied down 75% of the Imperial Japanese forces and fought/endured like tigers to the death.Battles like the 100 Regiments Offensives ,Pingxinguan,Sihang warehouse,Battle of Shanghai countless other battles big/small etc where often 8-10 Chinese soldiers died to kill 1 Jap soldier were the norm-KMT army/Communist 8th Route Army-no difference-all patriotic Chinese defending the Motherland and her people-Wang Ching Wei surrendered to Japan hoping for mercy/compassion from the evil Japs-didn't work out did it.
