President Donald Trump on Friday blocked U.S. photonics firm HieFo Corp's $3 million acquisition of assets in New Jersey-based aerospace and defense specialist Emcore, citing national security and China-related concerns.

In an order released by the White House, Trump said HieFo was "controlled by a citizen of the People's Republic of China" and that its 2024 acquisition of Emcore's businesses led the president to believe that it may "take action that threatens to impair the national security of the United States."

Venezuela is one man, military state. I think the next guy to reign as a leader is someone from the military or Maduro's close ally.

Venezuela-Historical,Gunboat diplomacy from the westoids at their worst-I am actually seeing 1841 Opium wars repeat and the oil,minerals,lumber,people are now a subjugated commodity of USA to be exploited-not to mention Epstein file distraction.China will hopefully redouble her efforts in her military buildup.

All this happened because the US already got pushed around by China's rare earth ban. He's looking for something that looks like a win out of anywhere and a small nation right next to the US is something China cannot protect militarily.

China beats the US in 2 trade wars, a tech war, builds islands in the SCS while the US sails around in circles, etc...
Trump: "It's an honor to have such a great friend as President Xi of China..."

Venezuela just exists and sells its own oil.
Trump: "I ordered military strikes on Venzuela and kidnapped its president to show that we will not be pushed around as a nation."
