Those classes delivered actual ships to the fleet. The new Cancellation Classes will just eat up funding enough for an actual fleet but gets cancelled before delivering anything substantial.
Just think of all the profits that can be made if you go in from the very start knowing you won’t have to actually deliver any finished products! Just keep the PowerPoints rolling, cash the government cheques, ‘spend’ that money so it can’t be clawed back, and kick back and wait for the inevitable cancellation order. If you are really good, you may even be able to take a final big wet bite out of the taxpayers by collecting on cancellation fees in the contract.
In that case, I hope they exceeds all our expectations.At a minimum, I would expect it to wreak havoc with ongoing Arleigh Burke production.

Someone built a open source python script to mass un-redact some Epstein files. Talk about incompetence....
