For animal feed, things like how the product looks like are little important, it is different for human consumption however.
At least when you sell the product as it is and not in processed form.

I don't know jack about farming but you don't know jack about business, or even English. You think you didn't put down Brazilian farmers? You just did in the comment that I quoted. There is a picture of a handful of Brazilian beans. Who the hell asked you what the quality of those beans were and how they compared to American beans? Do you go on the street and start picking out people's problems as you see them? What compelled you to "pick out" their issues? That's a handful of beans with more buyers than American beans and that's all you need to know.

And you don't know business either because quality is not an issue if they're flying off the shelves, now is it? It's a completely moot point because Chinese people, the biggest consumer of soybeans in the world, don't care. The facts on the ground are that Chinese people are dumping US beans for Brazilian and nobody needs or asked for your desperation rant on how good American soybeans are. We don't care; we want Brazilian. Read the English.

You wanna at least sound like a big guy? Say you wish the Brazilian farmers a bountiful upcoming harvest, the Chinese a happy new year, and congratulate the boon in Chinese-Brazilian business relations. You might as well, because complaining like a little man won't do you any good. That's for sure.

And my name is Equation. Don't call me any other name because you don't know me like that.

Don't mind him. That's just a natural trait for many profess christian to talk down of others and make excuses that being so makes them non haters. Can see through the facade.

China's foreign trade rose 9.7 percent year on year to a historic high of 30.51 trillion yuan (about 4.5 trillion U.S. dollars) in 2018, the General Administration of Customs (GAC) said Monday.

The value was 2.7 trillion yuan higher than that of 2017, according to the GAC.

"China effectively tackled changes of the external environment last year, and the foreign trade maintained stable and positive growth, reaching a historic high in import and export volume," GAC spokesman Li Kuiwen told a press conference.

Exports rose 7.1 percent year on year to 16.42 trillion yuan last year, while imports grew 12.9 percent to 14.09 trillion yuan, resulting in a trade surplus of 2.33 trillion yuan, which narrowed by 18.3 percent.

Exports and imports of products under the general trade category surged 12.5 percent year on year to 17.64 trillion yuan, accounting for 57.8 percent of the total foreign trade, 1.4 percentage points higher than 2017.

China's trade with the European Union, the United States and the ASEAN countries increased 7.9 percent, 5.7 percent and 11.2 percent, respectively, with their combined trade volume accounting for 41.2 percent of China's total foreign trade.

Trade with countries along the Belt and Road registered faster-than-average growth, with the trade volume standing at 8.37 trillion yuan, up 13.3 percent year on year.

"Trade cooperation with Belt and Road countries has become new driving force of China's foreign trade development," said Li.

Private enterprises played a bigger role, accounting for 39.7 percent of the total foreign trade, up 1.1 percentage points compared with 2017.

"Private enterprises contributed more than half to China's foreign trade growth in 2018, a bright spot of China's foreign trade development," said the spokesman.

China buying soy beans to feed live stock is relatively new meaning they were feeding livestock with other means before. China is not buying soy beans from the US because of its quality. It's not buying as a message to Trump and the US over its policies. So it doesn't really matter what the quality is when the message is being heard loud and clear.

Trump's followers are trying to spin victory when the US is hurting means China is hurting more after claiming the US didn't need China meaning no effect on the US economy. Apple just lost $55 billion from low sales in China and Apple hasn't even been hit by Trump's tariffs yet. What's China losing? China still gets its $10 for every $1000 iPhone made that's not selling. China ain't hurting more. Apple is not getting any money to pay for costs. After the media initially reported Tim Cook's spin that it's due to the bad Chinese economy overall, now they're questioning it reporting what was already known in this forum that domestic smartphone companies are reporting record sales during that same time and it's more due to domestic competition beating Apple not a bad economy.

Just follow the stereotypes that China doesn't care about quality. So why would the quality of a soy bean matter to China? And again China isn't the one losing more. You can have the best quality soy beans but if no one is buying them, China isn't losing the cost to produce them.

My screen name is Equation. That's what everyone here calls me, that is the professional etiquette and that's what you should as well because we don't have a special relationship. Calling me Bryon isn't endearing and it's not going to change my mind. Don't be clingy; just discuss the topic.

You can deny putting down Brazilian farmers but the fact is, someone posted a picture of Brazilian beans, and your reaction was to call them small, inferior, and cluttered with debris. Did anyone ask? No. Did anyone say that Brazil grew the best beans in the world? No. Brazil sells beans to China, replacing American business and that compelled you to put them down in desperation. Saying that you didn't is like punching someone and then saying you never touched him. It makes no sense and is against black and white evidence.

Also, very cute of you to "like" PiSigma's request to "cool it" and then continue the conversation. Why did you do that? You wanted me to cool it after you get your last word in, is that it? haha You accused me of making things up while everything I wrote is referenced in black and white. If it's made up, write a point-to-point on what and how it's made up. As far as I can tell, it's all true with no meaningful rebuttal from you.

Huawei is asking for mercy from President Trump:

"Trump is a great president. He dares to massively cut taxes, which will benefit business. "

"If they don’t want Huawei to be in some markets, we can scale down a bit. As long as we can survive and feed our employees, there’s a future for us."

on behalf of Huawei finance chief Meng Wanzhou."

"Ren denied suggestions that Huawei aids the Chinese government in espionage"

No company can go up against the lone superpower in this world.

So far, Chinese government's response had been rather timid. It would only invite for more attacks in the future.
