The masses don't have the organization, intellect, or education to make correct choices without a leader. You could not point out even 1 modern country that uses direct democracy; you couldn't even find a company that could survive on the model. The only time direct democracy is used is when governments collapse and people kill each other freely making the largest mob the final voice. Somalia has this kind of direct democracy; go check it out!

Chinese people rising up in solidarity with Huawei. Companies giving benefits for people using a Huawei phone, or punishing them if they are caught using an Apple iPhone. I can understand the former but the latter might be going too far.
