MEDITERRANEAN SEA (April 14, 2019) The Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) fires its Phalanx Close-In weapons System (CIWS) during a live-fire exercise. GUAM (April 11, 2019) Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 1st Class William Medlin lowers Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Robert Washington, both assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, to rescue two local spear fishermen after their personal watercraft sank off the east coast of Guam.
