Don't even get me start on the Zhong Zhen rifle production. That fucking thing's total production output was indeed 500k. But just not in one year, but from 1935 to 1950. LMAO Imagine being among millions of KMT army soldier waiting for equipments and the whole year production of new rifles were 50k in total. Hell, fucking "Enemy at the Gate" should be based on KMT instead of those Soviets. (They had a lot more Mosins than the number of troops they had gathering in Stalingrad historically)

The "Mao started in Peking and Shanghai" part already don't make any sense whatsoever LMAO. (Mao did not conduct long-term assignment in Peking or Shanghai, his first major assignment was in Hunan Province. (the earliest of his famous research report was the 1927 Hunan Province Peasant Movement Research Report, one could even say it's the template of anyone nowadays who wanted to write academic field research report) His report did not affect any decision-making in the Central Committee and Political Bureau, instead only attaining localized influence in Hunan Province alone. It's only after the violent 1927 split with KMT that COMINTERN and Central Committee began studying his report and formulating a viable "land reform policy".
Yeh that bit didn't make sense. The April 12 Purge being in Shanghai doesn't prove anything about Mao. Mao wasn't in power yet. Good thread though.

Why does China allow the narrative that Chinese Civil War is over? It's not... The nation isn't fully reunified and KMT still a rump state on Chinese territory.

Any decent, good books that discuss the Chinese Civil War between the CPC/PLA and KMT that anyone can kindly and highly recommend to read. Also, the battle strategies, tactics, and the influential generals that helped shaped each other's forces and outcome. Thanks very much.

Mao's writings during the Civil War period are very enlightening regarding economic strategy, those are available on the Marxist.org website.

Well because the main fighting ended in 1949.
That is not a good answer. If people think the Korean war is over they may be forgiven for misunderstanding the cease fire agreement for a peace treaty. Chinese civil war does not have a cease fire agreement. Mainland simply stopped bombing Taiwan on its own terms.

BTW, main fighting ON MAINLAD between KMT and CPP finished in 1949, but large scale fighting continued on surrounding islands well into 1959. Small scale bombardment of Jin Men island only ended in 1979.

Also, how could you wake up someone who pretends to sleep? By stabbing him until he scream?
This is dumb comparison. The Korean War is widely known to not end due to lack of armistice or peace treaty. Are Koreans stabbing each other while screaming? What is this analogy come from.

What is this then?

What are these if they are not stabbing and screaming? You can count the casualties.

The analogy comes from good knowledge of what is happening around the world. ;) Otherwise one would be dumb.
