Well, with this post I have reached the distinction on Sino Defence Forum of having made 5,000 posts.
As such, I thought I would start a thread here in the Member's Club area of the Forum and call it the, "SD Forum 5,000 Post Member Lounge & Club." The rules for participation on this thread are simple.
Rules of participating on the SD Forum 5,000 Post Member Lounge/Club:
1. You must have reached 5,000 postrs on SD or more to post in this lounge.
2. Anyone having less than 5,000 posts is not a member and therefore not allowed to post.
Intent:
So, you folks who have reached the 5,000 post level, this marks a lot of time and input to the forum, while abiding by and following the rules for all of that time. Congratulations! You've earned a place to come, kick your shoes off, lay back and just take it easy.
Talk and reminisce about your experiences on SD.
Talk about old posters/members and their fates.
Talk about the tremendous increase in military, and particularly naval technologies since you became a memeber.
Talk about your family, job, career, and goals.
Or whatever your hearts desire...of course as long as it is within the rules and guidelines of the SD Forum which are plainly posted.
I know that Tphuang and bd popeye have long since acheived this status and possibly others too.

I know there are quite a few others in the 4,000+ range.
Hurry up you guys...and join the club! Not by artificially inflating your post count, but by continuing to provide good and valuable input on the forum.
Heck, bd popeye could start a 10,000 post lounge and probably a 15,000 post lounge as well...but, hehehe, he would be very lonely in there because I believe he'd be the only one there for some time to come! LOL!
