I’m sure after the performance of the IAF, everyone and their grandma is lining up to purchase the Tejas

This raises the question: if Tejas is so good, how come the IAF themselves didn't deploy them at the frontline in large numbers?

Also, this paragraph from your article:

The fact that the former programme director talks about "full self-reliance" without India producing its own jet engine sort of says it all. A nation full of hypemen. How can anyone take them seriously?

I don’t recall them being so diplomatic when Western aircraft were decimating Soviet or Russian made Iraqi planes or worse, bombing third world militants with no air defense. Some how that made their gear “battle proven” and “top of the line”. When J-10C makes a kill against an aircraft of the same generation, that apparently doesn’t prove if Chinese gear is good. Double standards much?

The US warhawks are trying to skirt around either blaming Indians to hide how Western technology failed or give all the credit to Pakistani pilots and not on Chinese military technology. Both suggesting it would be different if it were the US in that position. But they have been in that position. How easily they forget the recent F-18 Growler incident with a Chinese kill chain that got a high ranking US naval officer booted. What do they have in common? Chinese technology.

TLDW summary —
They have a problem and we understand their problem, that they have very excessive confidence in themselves, we don't know where they came from. They had wrong accounts and false assumptions that they would come and strike civilian places, mosques, and nothing will happen, and there will be no consequences. Who used to feed them with these ideas? That Pakistan will simply receive the strike and will not respond.

Basicly it's about China's Missiles "missed their targets or malfunctioned", J10-CE & JF-17 "Again, compared to Indian aircraft, Chinese-supplied Pakistan aircraft have a lower payload, shorter combat range and low survivability. In fact, Pakistan's defence spokesman even confirmed the loss of two JF-17s in the Indian retaliatory attacks."

Confidence Lost

More significantly, China viewed the India-Pakistan conflict as an arena to sell its military equipment. However, its poor performance in Pakistan has shaken its arms bazaar. For instance, after the ceasefire announcement by Pakistan, China's Aviation Industrial Corporation (AVIC) Chengdu and Zhuzhou Hongda (that produces PL-15 missiles) saw their stock performance tumble by 9%, from an initial gain in the early stages of the conflict. Chinese military equipment's lackadaisical performance in Pakistan undermined business confidence and resulted in a slide in the stocks.

Really impresive article, the auther is a "Professor of China studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University" ,which his identity makes me feel that he is not trolling but actually believe all this.

India gravitating towards what people perceived NK to be. In future perhaps we will witness Indian version of Juche, a mixture of worshiping Modi and Bharat Winology. On the other hand, NK under KJU is more and more open up with recent admission of Ship launch mishaps.

In software development we have a four word phrase that succinctly describes this sort of nonsense —

“Garbage in, Garbage out”.
