F-35, Su-57 maybe even KF-21, I still remember how they struggled with decision-making during the last airshow.
If India panic buys fighter jets as a response. It will most likely be the F-35s. The SU-57 or KF-21 won’t come fast enough in sufficient quantity. Could be amusing if they buy several dozen F-35s. That could kick their domestic fighter program straight into the gutter for the next couple decades.
If not Indian military targets, are you suggesting Pakistan to hit Indian civilians? That sounds like when someone hit you, instead of hitting him you hit his children and wife. That wouldn't look good for you.
China should wait until half of the Indian assets are destroyed and then pose as the “good guy” and force them to the negotiations table.
I'm suggesting they might not even carry out the strike at all. If these planes shot down are confirmed they've already humiliated the IAF enough to the point they could just spin it as a win
