What do people here think about Indian Def Ministers comments about 'Next strike will done started by the Navy'
Are indian carriers a big threat here? I dont think Pakistan forces have any anti-ship system? Though I have heard the same cm400 can be used for 'penetration' strikes too?

Also I think there was another air battle on 10th, They were indian journalists and news media saying planes near srinager, then we never heard any outcome of it later. Some other people also said about it but nothing came later,

A simple Google search would reveal that PAF and PN have multiple types of anti ship missiles including export variants of YJ12 and YJ83.

Well If indian navy assumes the same and is 'within' the 'kill range' of PN-PAF then it would be something to see,
overall i hope another conflict doesnt happen and saner minds can prevail on india's side, there does seem to be some internal military vs politicians disagreement going on.

@AlexYe During the post-strike news briefings, the PN spokesperson firmly stated that the PN has a lock on the Indian carrier.

However, he also pointed out the carrier’s limitations, noting that it can only operate 12 MiG-29s from its deck, which is insufficient for its own defense. Additionally, PN Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPAs) have recently tracked P8I aircraft and Scorpene submarines.

Despite these capabilities, the PN has exercised restraint, underscoring that Pakistan does not wish to escalate tensions.

As @Maikeru noted, just as the IAF suffered from such misconceptions, it’s time to let India experience the naval front as well and see what it feels like firsthand.

What about the various videos of Indian Su30s landing and taking off their carrier? Cant they bolster their numbers bringing them along?
(Maybe the cant launch the su's with full payload and the ones in videos are empty/lighters? Hmm)

Scorpene submarines.
There was also that news that India arrested some naval engineer that leaked information about 14 ships including subs to pakistan side, which..yikes

I haven't come across any credible reports or official statements confirming that the Indian Navy has conducted carrier landings with the Su-30.

Could you please share the source or provide more details? That way, we can look into it further and verify the authenticity of the information.

My mistake, the tweet from Indian Osint was taking about how they will modify su30mki for vikrant, the attached video is a mig29k launching at night tho, I read it wrong.
idk if su30 can be modified for that or if india has the capability
