This is mainstream Indian media -- there are at least three IAF crashes inside Indian territory.

Unless Indian AD truly fucked up (not out of the question) then it seems they were taken out by long range assets as there is no claims of PAF jet crossing the border by either side.

At least three Indian jets have crashed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor, Ramban and Pampore areas on Wednesday (May 7, 2025), a government official told The Hindu. Officials are yet to reveal the exact circumstances behind these crashes.

Guys. This is a drop tank from the Dassault Aviation. Don't be fooled, this is not a debris from a crashed aircraft.

Yes, a drop tank is designed to be dropped from an aircraft. They are typically jettisoned when they are empty or in an emergency to reduce drag and weight

For reference. India claimed that they shot down a PAF's F-16 in 2019, but they were only able to show the AMRAAM

The picture of the AIM-120 only proved that it was used during combat. Not that it was shot down.

Once again the Indian military claimed that there are three fighter aircraft crashes but did not elaborate on the circumstances. If they were PAF aircraft why not just say that enemies were engaged and shot down? Not to mention that we have video of detached MICA pylon next to a burning wreck…

A while ago someone ask me why I dont take it seriously. I said a fight is unlikely to start, but if it does, it will be to China's benefit. Years of investment/ export to Pakistan paid off. Indian ambition is contained for now. They would be too busy in Pakistan to start anything in China.
