According to both Pakistani and Indian sources, during the day on May 8th, the Pakistani metropolis of Lahore was attacked by Indian loitering munitions, including examples of what has been claimed to be the

Some sources have claimed that these attacks targeted Pakistani air defense systems located in and/or around Lahore, which would very much align with the intended applications of loitering munitions like the Israeli HAROP.

Pakistani sources claim to have intercepted a number of drones, which could include drones that qualify as loitering munitions, in and around Lahore.

Some Indian OSINT nerds on Twitter claim that a Pakistani Navy unit employing and/or responsible for HQ-16 systems or components in Lahore may have been targeted by some of these Indian loitering munitions.

Not too sure if any of the aforementioned accounts are fully or completely accurate, but the totality of events here shouldn't be too controversial: Indian forces are attempting to degrade and assess Pakistani air defense capabilities in and around Lahore, the second largest city in Pakistan with a population of ~14 million.

Our Indian bhais would not be doing any of this unless they are preparing for and expecting further escalation with our Pakistani bros.

Not a "peaceful sign."

they claimed the photo was from 25/sept 2024....
The serial number of their fleet was RSxxx instead of BS.
I m no expert on iaf however

The photo is latest, rather than an old one.

Jai Hinds' claims are from a time-display malfuction of Google Lens. They search the photo via Google Lens, it wierdly displays a Mohsin_o2's post, with the time tag 25/Sept 2024. But it turns out to be a display error, the post is actually a recent one. Except this post, time tags of other search results are all recent ones.

Watch this screenshot video, you'll get it. OSINT guys like

are doing great work againt Nonsense.

So, the photo is indeed fresh.

But I'm not sure if it's AI-generated or PSed. Consider this pic's complexity & consistency with previous Rafale BS-001 photos, IMO it's very unlikely. Maybe someone here can help?

That single photo of the rafale vertical stabilizer piece is not enough evidence to decisively claim a rafale was shot down.

It is definitively recent. having a lot of experience in photo manipulation myself, i can tell it is very hard to fake that photo.

But then where is the video of the actual rafale wreckage? The image might have shown a replacement vertical stabilizer piece of the rafale.

We won't know if any rafales are shot down until either:
1) IAF or Dassault confirms it
2) satellite image or image/videos of the actual rafale wreckage are shared on the internet.
