With the AB loss to Ireland(my mate picked up just a shade over $5000 for $40 spread of exotic bets on Ireland) been a year of sporting and political surprises. Lets see if there's any more. Theres a hvy boxing bout for one of the for titles between NZ's Joseph Parker and Mexican Andy Ruiz around Dec 10

Sorry Antiterror13 of course its important. because

1/ This New Zealand team is described as the best NZ team ever and we went and lost to a country who has never beaten us in the History of Ruby. It is like the Chinese table tennis players losing to USA. Not having lost a game to Ireland is a record worth keeping.
2/ There has All Black teams who have played Irish teams that had better talent then them and won.
3/ We sacrificed Olympic gold in the rugby 7's at Rio, so our first choice rugby players would be at the best for this seasons International games.
The only consolation is that Ireland's coach is a NZder.

It wasn't important game, more like an exhibition ... nothing at stake .. The AB already won everything in 2016. But Irish played very very well and obviously the AB was not at its best.

It is good (in a way) that we lost to Irish, not to Australia, South Africa or England .... it is just a wake up call to the AB

As a MLB fan since 1961 I congratulate the World Champion Chicago Cubs on their WS Championship since 1908!

I saw this video last week it was like I was watching myself as a child play and fantasize about baseball.Much like this child in video.

How bout those Cowboys...now have won eight in a row. Beat the stellers today.

And...OBTW, BSU made up for its loss to Wyoming this week by clobbering Hawaii. They are now 9-1 and still have a good shot at a really decent bowl. Wyoming lost this week in triple overtime so BSU can still pull the conf championship out,.

Colombia plane crash: 'At least six survivors' as flight carrying 81 people, including a Brazilian football team, crashes near Medellin

A chartered aircraft with 81 people on board, including a Brazilian first division soccer team heading to Colombia for a regional tournament final, has crashed on its way to Medellin's international airport.

Aviation authorities said there are reports of at least six survivors.

"It's a tragedy of huge proportions," Medellin Mayor Federico Gutierrez told Blu Radio on his way to the site in a mountainous area outside the city where aircraft crashed.
