Lots. Our allocation for Foreign loan just got increased by 9B. the KAAN thing is expected to receive 1.2B. J-10 funding is about 1.6B. istiff was 1.2B, Garibaldi was about 450 M USD + 100M USD refurbishment. Things like that.

Problem remains on prudency like why the F Type-053H instead of 054AE or why J-10AG/B instead J-10CE. There clearly lots of other than technical consideration (retarded, yes).

You may also notice that the last time we published our Defence White Paper was 2015. 10 fking years of emptiness. Defence white paper is not just publication but also the blueprint on our intent and how to achieve it in defense matters. Without it yes.. people like Norman Joesoef will just dick around shoving it to our military. I expect lots more of this confusion.

Buying J-10B with or without radar upgrade or even J-10C AL-31 is a bad buy and I’ll stand by it. Maybe you can save a couple million in the short run but AL-31 is not a good choice for single-engined fighter aircraft. It has low MTBO and has trouble with lubrication, which can cause the main drive shaft to break and result in airframe loss. On flankers the issue is not apparent because of twin engine redundancy but in single engines aircraft it is a lot more pronounced. This is not even factoring in aircraft maintenance in tropical climate…
