Indonesia reportedly has ordered TF-35000 engines alongside its order for the KAAN next-generation fighter jet, according to Turkish defense enthusiasts. This makes sense since Indonesia doesn’t want American engines for the KAAN.
The agreement between Indonesia and Turkey and emphasises two thing. First KAAN has to be ITAR Free and second the engine has to be what Türkiye produces (TF-35000).

Basically, if Türkiye cannot deliver the KAAN with the specifications mentioned in the contract, then Indonesia can forfeit the deal.
So the whole F110 engines situation doesn’t matter to Indonesia.

Regarding KF-21.

Lieutenant Colonel PNB Mohammad Sugiyanto, a TNI AU test pilot with the callsign "Mammoth," successfully conducted the maiden flight test from the front seat of the KF-21 Boramae prototype on September 30, 2025, in Sacheon, South Korea. In the one-hour mission alongside KAI test pilot Koh Hwi Seok, he evaluated performance as well as Stability & Control aspects at altitudes of 10,000–20,000 feet. Previously, in May 2023, Sugiyanto became the first foreign pilot to fly in the rear seat of the KF-21, and his success in the front seat now underscores Indonesia's active contribution to this program.

Reportedly an Indonesian Navy Sibarau (Attack)-class patrol vessel apparently sank on 28 September following a fire that broke out in its engine room....Siliman was participating in surveillance operations along the Malacca Strait, according to Janes.

However there’s been no report by anyone on such incident for the time being, I’ll try to gather more info

TNI-AU is thinking to upgrade T-50is as LCA standard (FA-50), while Lift duties will be using M346 as a Hawk 109 replacement. In this scenario FA-50 going to be replacement for the Hawk 209 LCAs.

Currently Rafale looks like that is going to replace the Hawk 209/109 both in Pekanbaru and Pontianak AB. However looking on TNI-AU activities like visiting the Leonardo facility for M346 and further discussion between KAI with DI, the indication so far shown potential M346 as LIFT/FLIT and FA-50 (mostly from T-50i upgrade) as LCA.

It is back again to marketing lobby war between Leonardo vs KAI on LIFT.
But I would prefer to see KAI win due to the KF-21.

Domestically built 122mm Arjuna MLRS system prototype.

Note how they use a KAMAZ chassis compared to the Tatra 815 (Used for the RM-70 also being used) to make logistics, training and maintenance easier.
But Korps Marinir already had some unused ones on stock and has experience with Russian (or Ex-Soviet) equipment.
Perhaps because KAMAZ actually has better presences in the Indonesian commercial market then Tatra. This means their supply chain support supposedly provide better network then Tatra.
