I don't see a connection between PLAN (or PLAAF) picking it up and FC-31 not being showcased at Zhuhai. FC-31 should still fly and try to woo potential buyers, even if there already is an investor (PLAN for example). And I hope to Odin it won't get renamed to J-35. It's too similar to F-35. And what's with all the silly leaps in nomenclature? It should realistically be called J-2X something. FC-31 is different, that's a commercial name for exports. Just like J-10 isn't named FC-10 but FC-20.

Agreed, personally I think the claim that the FC-31 will be renamed as the J-35 is just another silly fanboy attempt to stick it to the F-35.

Sorry should have been clear it’s my wish and I hope China takes into consideration that I predicted naval V3 will fly before 2018 Otherwise I will not be too happy
