ffI should clarify..The female CW singers of yesteryear could actually sing. Patsy Cline, Lorreta Lynn, June Carter Cash, Tammy Wynette etc..had a certain quality to their voices that is missing in my opinion in todays CW vocalist.

Exactly, but where's Dolly?ff

Perhaps somebody should create a thread where one can talk about anything they like within the forum parameters, but where the subject matter isn't strong enough for its own thread.

What the? The first couple of posts here didn't make any sense.....
And for a moment I thought you meant Shania Twain too....... Country, pop, country, pop. Same thing the way things are heading now. Pop from back in the day and pop now are two complete subjects.... don't know how they have even the same name.

So sad that singers today are judged more on their looks and age than their voice...... You should czeque out the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cirus..... Not sure how they got on though.....

Popeye, I don't think I've seen a single woman or girl under 30 on TV today who isn't underweight..... seriously! Something about them looking fat or baby cheeks or cheek bones... yuck! I hate those high cheek bones with their concave down cheeks and delta face...... The only exceptions are Victoria's Secret Models.... and maybe Playboy......

i totally agree with you there, but sometimes its nice to look at someone who couldnt be my grandmother.
