I can't read Russian but this site is saying that China has ordered 8 more PMU-2 battalions (/divisions? translation??), making the total 16 divisions (?-how many batteries in a division?). At any rate it sounds like a rumour from the Russian manufacturer and we all know how reliable those are....

"favorite" is capable to strike aerial targets at the distances from 3 to 200 km in the range of heights from 0,01 to 27 km, including ballistic missiles with the launching range to 1.000 km by the physical destruction of warheads at the distances to 40 km the speed of the beaten purposes - to 2.800 m/s. ZRS is capable of conducting simultaneous firing to six purposes with the guidance to two rockets to each target. Rate of fire 3 - 5 s. Let us recall that the concern OF PVO - AIR DEFENSE "diamond -Ante1" became the most important company of Russia by the volumes of the production of the defense production in 2005. The volume of sales was 45 billion rubles by the holding of the production of military designation. Concern conducts scale works on the creation of the weapon systems of new generation, in particular zenith rocket system S -400.
