I know that these are pictures from the Soviet Union days. However I was feeling a bit nostalgic for some old cold war equipment.

You get a good idea of the size of a Mig-31 when compared to and su-30 series
Yes, I think we can safely say she is a LEAD SLED, she will NOT turn, Nor accelerate, but she is fast, if she's true to the Mig-25, she's a real brick when supersonic, but did I tell you she was fast..... Why they want to Mig 41 her, I just can't figure. Even you fellows should be able to tell that she will eat your lunch, (and hers too), if you try to horse her around at altitude, you might get by with it in the teens, but above that, she would just be mean, I bet if you depart her in the teens you better be ready to "punch out", especially if she does something ugly, like snap over the top????? I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Mig 21 was light and fairly maneuverable when matched against an F-4, but a very nasty airplane if provoked, why I wasn't to keen on a friendly, (prolly not to serious) offer of the back seat..... Mig 21 would be a punch out if you lost the engine----I'm very certain I would not enjoy that!

Mig25 has had its day most were replaced by Mig31 which is a better performer, Mig 41 will likely just be a SE version of 31. Better systems, RCS work but still a turning radius the size of Texas.

What makes you think that the MiG-41 would be the same airframe as the MiG-31? There is nothing concrete that has come out so far, indicating that the MiG-41 would be the same as MiG-31, in terms of design and lack of agility. In fact the design and anything to reveal a detail account on what the MiG-41 would be, is classified.
Got anything to back up your claims?

An astute observation, my friend. However, this does not imply MiG-41's airframe, materials and design being the same as the Foxhound's. Yes, the aircraft will be designed to achieve Mach-4, but surely you don't expect them to go about it in the same way the Soviets did. Surely the Russians will come up new design concepts, materials, to give the MiG-41 agility, versatility, lethality and endurance.

Ahhhh Yes the MiG-25. Russian conclusive proof to the world, that which a large enough engine even a brick will fly.
