Gerberas are mounting a new anti-jam antenna called Kometa. AI narrated promo video reveals details about the Gerbera "decoy". For a decoy, it mounts a 5 to 10kg warhead. While it's far from the 90kg of a Geran, 5 to 10kg is as much as a Lancet or an artillery shell. These drones can dispose themselves by attacking smaller targets, and on their own, can still be a threat to vehicles to power substations, acting as a self sufficient true loitering munition.

With Russia getting swarmed by long ranged drones, it's time to make use and expend older AAMs that's headed to expiration and retirement.

Giatsint-K is beginning to make it's presence felt at the front. The switch from the MSTA barrel on the 2S43 Malva to the Giatsint or Hyacinth barrel to produce the 2S44 Giatsint-K, highlights the battle proven popularity of the Hyacinth platform. I was inclined to think the 2S5 Hyacinth-S was the best Soviet SPH and the 2A36 Hyacinth- B the best Soviet towed howitzer. With the production long retired and inventory numbers dwindling with battle attrition, it's natural to have both Hyacinths replaced by the Hyacinth-K over time.

From the producers of the Lancer, this appears to be the next generation of loitering drone. It is intended to strike both moving and stationary targets. From the description of the operating modes, including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic, it works like a Lancet.

The Kalashnikov Concern unveiled the modernized Russian tactical drone, the KUB-10ME. Details about the drone are still scarce. It is known that the drone was developed in a very short timeframe, approximately four months. Judging by the video, the drone is equipped with an internal combustion engine. The KUB-10ME drone is designed to engage unarmored and lightly armored vehicles. It can also engage enemy personnel, stationary targets, and air defense systems. The drone is also capable of performing reconnaissance missions at altitudes of 80 to 1,800 meters and a cruising speed of up to 120 km/h. The warhead weight is still unknown, but some sources indicate it weighs between 4 and 16 kg. The drone's range is over 100 kilometers.

Ukraine airforce spokesman saying Russia launched so many missiles that air defense crews and equipment are exhausted.
only newest systems are fully automated like S350 and Pantsir-SM.
or perhaps updating Ka-52M to 32 Igla-V. the newest Igla can intercept cruise missiles.

We're experiencing the biggest blows yet – Ignat details the Russian night attack on May 14

"Therefore, physical fatigue is taking its toll, as are the overloaded equipment and the consumption of certain ammunition. Clearly, all of this takes time. However, a large number of targets were shot down last night. We are now experiencing the heaviest strikes we've seen during the full-scale invasion, using cruise and ballistic missiles."
"Yesterday, weather conditions were stolen and a huge number of drones were flying in different directions. Today, all of them have flown to one location, and unfortunately, it's impossible to shoot down such a large number with a limited number of assets. The enemy is also well aware of the current problem facing our air defenses. Therefore, we must understand that our air defenses are doing everything possible to destroy them," Ignat explained.

They say Onyx and Zircon launchers are now in Kursk area and missile can reach Kivy within in seconds after detection. not even minutes. where the people that high supersonic missile can be easily intercepted and detected? when actual results are practical zero.

Russian forces have moved one Bastion coastal defense missile system to the Kursk region, increasing the number of launchers in the area to four. According to monitoring channels, this allows the Russian army to significantly reduce the flight time of Onyx and Zircon missiles to the Ukrainian capital. Monitors claim that after the system's relocation,

not within minutes, as before, but practically within seconds of a detected launch.

The answer is Cargo drones, Cargo helicopter since drones and missile with increased ranges can be launched from anywhere while air defense crew has to stay in static area. Robotic production decisively shifted favor attacking side.

A robotic warehouse has been developed for a promising drone mail delivery system.

The development will be in demand in logistics in hard-to-reach areas.
CHELYABINSK, April 17. /TASS/. Scientists at South Ural State University (SUSU) have developed a fully robotic postal warehouse, which will serve as the starting point for a parcel delivery system using robotic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The university's press service told TASS.

"Currently, 100% of drone deliveries worldwide are carried out using operator-controlled drones. Attempts to implement a fully automated system have so far been unsuccessful. To address this issue, SUSU scientists have developed the first fully robotic postal warehouse, which will serve as the basis for a promising system for robotic drone delivery of mail," the press service said.

They explained that the new warehouse is currently designed as a fully functional stand. Parcels of various sizes are loaded into bins. Upon receiving a dispatch command, a robot picks up the parcel from the bin and places it on a conveyor belt, which transports it to the outdoor UAV landing pad. The drone robot can then retrieve the parcel.

"In the promising first robotic postal delivery system, such a parcel will be picked up by a quadcopter robot that autonomously positions itself in space, scans the QR code on the parcel, and delivers it to the recipient. Flight tests will begin this summer," the university said.

The United Aircraft Corporation (OAK) has delivered a batch of new multifunctional Su-35S fighter jets to the Russian Aerospace Forces

✔️ The 4++ generation aircraft have undergone a full cycle of factory testing. The machines were tested in various operating modes by pilots of the Russian Defense Ministry and made a flight to their home airfield.

“As part of fulfilling the target tasks set by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to provide troop groups with weapons and equipment in the scope of the tasks they solve, a new batch of Su-35S aircraft was received. The Su-35S is a maneuverable multifunctional fighter. This equipment works without any complaints, and the crew finds it easy to operate it. We perform various tasks on this aircraft: interception of aerial targets at long ranges, cover for strike groups and ground objects, destruction of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as delivering precise strikes on ground and surface targets with high-precision weapons. We also conduct reconnaissance, exposing enemy positions at a significant distance from the line of contact,” noted a Su-35S pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

ℹ️ The Su-35S is designed to gain air superiority and to strike ground infrastructure targets located at a significant distance from its home airfield.

ZAK-30 or Citadel as it is called. More information about it is detailed in this promotional video.

This looks like a potential replacement to the Strela-10. These things are more important against tactical UAVs.

A batch of new Russian Su-35S fighters, manufactured by the Yury Gagarin Aircraft Plant, has been delivered to the Russian Ministry of Defense as part of a state defense order. The Su-35S is a successful development of the Soviet fourth-generation Su-27 heavy fighter. In terms of performance, the aircraft is almost on par with fifth-generation fighters, although it is inferior primarily in radar signature. The aircraft have undergone a full cycle of factory testing, have been accepted by technical personnel, and have been pilot-tested in various operating modes.

destroying drones at long distances is new capability of Su-35. i think they have new version of R-77M from previous i posted that has highly advanced seeker and 250km range. those new AAMs were part of this year Su-57 batch. in both instances referring to Pilot.
that R-74 upgrade was done in 2023 for Su-57. that short range AAM they claimed 10 to 15 years ahead of US. R-77M was created for Su-57 that migrated to Su-35.

A pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces' Su-35S fighter jet reported that the Russian multi-role Su-35S fighters destroy drones from long distances without approaching them.

This was the original info from 2018 i think that is reposted by some one else. 2600km/hour (they gave importance to this number) is the initial top speed of Su-57. now Russia material science and engine technology has progressed leaps and bounds. think about over 3,000km/hr. Current MIG-31 is now 3,400km/hour.

Ukraine only mention drones when hundreds of them are launched but not glide bombs who are now more numerous than drones.

Ukraine: Russia plans to produce 120,000 glide bombs with a range of 400 km by 2025

Skibitsky explained that Russian forces are currently dropping between 200 and 250 glide bombs daily, stressing that "the quantity of these aerial bombs produced in the Russian Federation is enormous, and this is a threat that requires us to respond appropriately.
kibitsky revealed that Russia has begun mass production of a new glide bomb capable of flying up to 200 kilometers from its launch point, with plans to manufacture about 500 of them by the end of this year.

He added that Kyiv also believes Moscow is working on modifications that would allow these bombs to fly up to 400 kilometers, enabling it to target more Ukrainian cities without using missiles. Recent attacks on the Mykolaiv, Poltava and Odesa regions have demonstrated the increased range of this weapon

He predicted that by 2025 Russia would produce a total of about 70,000 long-range drones, including 30,000 of the "Shahid" model.
