It's not a new version ... all Russian AF serial versions are called Su-35S.

The up-roar from other T-series tanks comes from the lack of automatic gearbox, where operator has to shift himself.
Rubber were not needed on other tanks because they had already quite smooth gears and did not exceed the weight and ground pressure for common roads.
