Tornado-S is being used now in HE-FRAG mode to take out UAV control centers, just as we have seen X-38ML missiles being used in a similar capacity, and the ramp up of LMUR on this role.
This is a hit in Konstantinovka by the 439 Rocket Artillery Brigade with the 238th Artillery Brigade doing the scouting.
There's a similar strike in Volchansk. This feels similar to a FAB-250 strike.
That's what the tanks do in background now. They hit at around 10km using indirect fire with a drone for artillery spotting and damage verification. They shoot and scoot, like a short range SPG. Or acting l8ke an assault gun if they are not turned into a turtle tank. As it turns out they are doing a remarkable job at it. Smoothbore gun firing finned projectiles seem able to deal more accurate results than artillery with rifled barrels. Maybe.
As such, it was logical for the Russians to take out their T-62M and T-62BV inventories as the smoothbore gun can deliver a ballistic range of nearly 10km. T-54/55 tanks would be logical, given the 18 degree elevation allows a ballistic range of 16km, about the same range as a D-30 howitzer or 2S1 Gvozdika using non rocket assisted projectiles. T-54/55 uses a rifled barrel though.
This seems like a T-90 with an Armata turret. Historically, strapping an existing tank with the turret of it's supposed successor has yielded legendary success. Think of the T-34/85, which is the T-34 using the T-44 turret. Or the Sherman Easy Eight.
With tanks being used as SPGs and assault guns, you don't need to tank overkill for now. You need availability and quantity to plug the entire frontline.
Ironically, the real SPGs aren't doing shoot and scoot anymore. They shoot a few shells, then gets quickly covered with camouflage, then wait for a while before moving out or start shooting again.

A combat sequence involving two Russian T-72B3M tanks in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region. The video was filmed in the Krasnoarmiisk sector. In the video, two T-72B3M tanks fire at Ukrainian army strongholds located in a forest belt. It's worth noting that tank battles no longer exist in Ukraine. Modernized T-72B3M tanks began to be produced in 2022.

if the leak is legit and full, Looks like there is no mention of the armata maybe they start producing it after reducing the produciton of the other tanks and the end of the war ,the BMPT is to be procured in low numbers ,and the new T-90M2 will have redisgned turret, reverse trans fix a modernized crew chamber(also for new T-800)
