That price point is insane! We are entering the age of AI and robot commodification on a much steeper curve than we saw with personal computers and other technology adoption.
I wager that as compute power continues to drop in price, in a few years even open source and community maintained AI/LLMs and DIY hardware will approach levels we see with System on a Chip desktops today in terms of cost and ease of use.
Imagine walking into a local computer store and getting all the parts you need to build a bipedal assistant for around the same price as what an expensive coffee machine costs today.
