this is really impressive, level of articulation, smoothness of motion, and practical functionally is superb.

Yes and it has been posted on my x account which I have also posted on SDF.

Boston dynamics is a joke.
is it a joke? Most Chinese companies are busy playing kung fu while the ones showcasing industrial applications don't have the level of sophistication that the latest Boston Dynamics robot show's.

Have you seen Ubtech industrial robots? Already working in factories. Pretty similar to Boston dynamics

I have, it moves like a last gen robot and as mentioned before the current industrial robots don't show the level of movement the new Boston Dynamics robot does. Lets hope their next generation machines are more capable, some of the Chinese robots show good promise.

Show me a video of Boston Dynamics humanoid robot interact with the public.
You mean besides kicking it's mocap actor in the balls?

In the low-end market, I hope humanoid robots can achieve costs lower than India's labor-intensive manufacturing. In the high-end market, they can enter hospitals to replace nursing assistants in caring for patients and the elderly.

Not sure what one you saw but the one I saw came out 2 months ago and was pretty similar to Boston dynamics.

Keep in mind, Ubtech has already make robots for factories and ramped up production, BD has not. That is a bid difference.

I dont think robots are even remoty ready for any kind of human facing service.

The best option for humanoid robots is to be in an environment where factory robots cannot perform.

Also hazardous situations can be a good use case. Things like bomb disposal or hazardous environment testing or fire rescue.

Finally, infantry warfare in urban areas will also be a good use case.
