This was one of my favorites.

It's like, all right, you uncovered it. Now what are you going to do with it? The roads seem to be all completely buried under just as much snow, and there is no where to go.

The body language of those guys almost looks like to me that they are realizing this. LOL!

Might be good to invest in a snow motorcycle.

Wonder if you would survive a fall from high places onto these snow.

Generally it would depend how high you are.

I seem to recall reading a couple of times about people haven fallen from high rise apartments in Auckland last year and survived.

The accompanying article to those photos said the snow rose to the 2nd level of 3level apartments. I wonder weather it was snow over several days or just over night. Those people living in one level homes would have been trapped.

I posted the following on my wife's Facebook page this morning. It's Valentine's Day, and we were engaged on this day 36 years ago.

A MOUNTAIN MORNING
A Song for Gail Head
By: Jeff Head (1982)

Our love is like a mountain morning,
Awakes the best part of me.
Each time you're near, it's a brand new dawning,
Crytsal clear for all the world to see!

Like a clear clean morning can brighten up a day,
Our love brightens our lives in every way,
The rising sun, and the morning star,
They speak of our love.

'Cause, our love is like a mountain morning,
Awakes the best part of me.
Each time you're near it's a brand new dawning,
Crystal clear for all the world to see!

In the dead of Winter, or in the late Spring,
A morning can be such a wonderous thing,
In times to come, as our seasons change,
Our love will light up oure lives!

Our love is like a mountaoin morning,
Awakes the best part of me.
Each time you're near, it's a brand new dawning,
Crytsal clear for all the world to see!

This is as true now as it was the day I wrote it. Even more so, now on this 36 anniverdsary of our engagement.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY SWEETHEART!

Amazing the "John Denver" of the Northern Rockies, Jeff Head surprises us all once again, so I guess we'll just have to call him the "Lover Boy" of Sino Defense???? actually the "Honey Badger" took me to get our marriage license 20 years ago on Valentines Day, the 19th is our 20th anniversary. A smart move on my part, one that's brought a lot of happiness and two very beautiful young ladies into our lives, as well as God's Blessing's. brat

I haven't heard about it, but I know from the past year to present two people had jumped off a building of my university and both died, one taken place during exam time and there were students waiting at the base of the building.

Here is a amazing story about someone who survived a sky diving accident though, not sure if posted before.

Usually the people who survive falls from this height hit snow, or, in a gross case, open top septic tanks. If they hit water it would've been the same as hitting concrete due to surface tension. However, the yucky stuff in sewage breaks up the surface tension, which means that the fall is a lot more survivable.

No info about the landing condition for this girl though. Maybe thick grass? Here in Texas the grass typically get to three-feet high if unchecked.
