Real life thread

Re: Real life thread...anyone?

^^ ha ha;).. I caught one of my kids in the middle of the day watching porn about 13 years ago...I moved the computer out of the extra room into the dining room...

This past Friday I purchased a 42" VIZIO HD 3D Smart Tv with all sorts of internet apps.. and a Roku streaming player for my VIZIO in the living room ...If you have the Roku thingy you do not need cable or a satellite dish.

get this.. this is my third VIZIO. The first one we just gave away to a relative..It cost nearly $200 bucks more than the one I just bought and it does nothing except get a great picture and it's was just 37" inches. We bought it in Feb 2008.

I really like the Roku player. It's well worth the $78 USD it cost. Well worth it. A simple on line search will get you many more channels than they have in their channel store. It is very simple to use.

air superiority.. they have porn available on Roku.. but there is no PORN allowed in my home. PERIOD!

but yes i also disagree with kids looking at porn until they hit puberty, but sadly all they need these days is an iphone or their friend's..

Good Lord, now that is cold!

Not really.. for some reason known only to God and weathermen it was about 35F when it started snowing. And now here it is 2210 or 10:10 pm for American civilians and it's still about 31F..just a tad nippy.:) We've only got about 3 inches so far. but it was snowing so hard the first 10 minutes you could not see a 100 feet in front of yourself.

If the air aloft is cold enough, it will start out up there as snow, and at 35 degrees on the surface, if the cold air mass is relatively low to the ground, it will not melt before hitting the ground...and if it is coming down heavy enough, it will begin to accumulate.

In addition, that heavy snow itself, in conjunction with the cold air mass moving in, will help reduce the temperature of the suface air to at or below freezing.

And, presto! you have snow coming down and sticking at above freezing temperatures. I have seen it do this here in Idaho on occassion at temperatures as warm as 39 degrees.

Well it's still snowing lightly.. we have a total of 3-4 inches of snow in our area depending on where you live. I'd say we are closer to 4 where I live. I'm heading out to brush the new fallen snow off the car (Oh joy!) 'cause my wife has to go to work..

When I was a kid growing in Cincinnati the heaviest snow I remember occurred when the temperature was about 33-35 degrees.

Well now.. we've got about 6 inches of snow the last 48 hours or so..It's snowing right now. Another1/2 inch by tomorrow morning. The 6 out of the last seven times I've driven my car I had to brush snow of of it.
