Recently at work some one sent me a sexy text message..a very simple "I'm horny". I just ignored it because I truly love my wife and am happily married. Since then when I see that woman her face turns red . Why anyone would want my fat butt , besides my wife, is beyond me.:confused:

Tell that to Equation to make him jealous.

You ever meet someone and every time you see them you just cant help but feel happy? Yeah.

Yes.many of my grand Children make me feel like that..:) Ever see the early episodes of "Everybody Loves Raymond". Frank Barone, Ray's dad played by Peter Boyle sometimes would sniff the heads of his grand children to "suck in that youth.. well that's how I feel when I see many of the little ones..

In my case pops, totally different reason. I just wish I could run in to her when not trapped by work.

Went carp fishing in Pedernales State Park last Saturday. Caught four and gave three to our friends. If we keep this up we can rid Texan rivers of this invasive species.

I don't even know what that is supposed to be?

Oh well... When I was a kid I collected comic books. DC and Marvel. They only cost .12 cents a piece. I really like the Marvel mags back in the 60s. Great story lines..IMO. I read Spiderman, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Sub-Mariner & Daredevil. And a couple of others whose names escape me. The DC mags I read were, Superman, Batman, Detective, Action, The Flash & Green Lantern. I still remember Green Lantern's credo;

"In the darkest day, in the blackest night no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evils might beware of my power , Green Lantern's light."

I gave up reading comic books when I joined the USN in 1971. When I look up the prices of some of those old mags which are now collectable.. I quiver. My aunts tossed out all of them after my dad passed away because I was away serving with the USN. They also tossed some very valuable ,now-a-days, baseball cards. Oh well. back then 40+ years ago that was just trash.

Today I collect nothing. Well I do have five wrist watches.

We spend so much time talking about Asian affairs of the military we often forget the cultural . Manga are imported Asian comic style books often the size of a trade paper pack. Their very popular and read by everyone from pre teens to adults suit and tie types. Here in tie US until tie current economic woes they were one of tie most growing segments of tie publishing market often imported translated and sold individually for about $10.00, subjects very the from slice of life to political thriller to science fiction to fight to fantasy to romance to porno to Shakespear there was even a series doing the history of 711 and cup of noodle Manga was so popular that a version of the 911 report was done in its format. Most American imports are Japanese but I know its also popular in other Asian nations to. The format differs from american comics in that the stories can be more complex with a wider base of concepts and ideas targeting a older reader. Well American comics tend to target young adults and the proven fan Manga are more generalised.

You have to think about it in another way:

If everyone kept his old comics, would they worth a fortune now?

No they would not..however the ones they threw out were worth several thousand dollars. I looked up the prices in about '01 or '02.
