I don't have any personal experience, but Changan is a large SOE, one of China's big 4 automakers, so probably at worst the same as buying a Chevy. Is Great Wall available where you are?

No, Changan is the only brand I see although I think there's a new company starting to import BYD. Not sure I'm ready to make the switch to electric yet, though there are a lot of Teslas here. We get a lot of private imports here, especially 2nd hand from Japan, for new all the big US/GE/JP/RoK brands are represented.

Changan have become hugely popular here, especially the pickup trucks. They represent a lot of car for the money.

I drove an Electric Sedan in Hainan recently. The Neta S. It is large but surprisingly easy and fun to steer. Range is pretty solid and DC charging is quick. The only complaint is too many touch buttons, not enough handy physical button.
