I think it would be convenient for each of the main forums (army, air force, navy) to have a dedicated pinned thread in which users can contribute links to posts from current and past threads which contain particularly illuminating or educating information. As in the form of:
"Link to post"
"Short description of what info the post contains and its importance"
This is mostly coming from a position of being a relatively new member of the forum alongside having still a relatively nascent knowledge on PLA matters, of which I want to become more informed on while not possessing sufficient Chinese language skills to traverse the Chinese side of the internet for up-to-date information hence using this English-based forum. I think it will be beneficial if older/more knowledgeable members can highlight former posts within heavily buried threads (prime example being the J-20 thread which is up to its 8th iteration and having in total many tens of thousands of messages) without those who are not as knowledgeable to try and trudge through all of that manually.
In a way, it can be similar to the "Ask anything" threads but in that the main benefit is that a lot of the time, there are things you might not know to ask but would benefit a lot from knowing in which this proposal comes through. Especially when you're new to these matters.
