I thought I would create a thread on the Type 072 LST class for the PLAN. The PLAN is still building and outfitting these actively so a thread about them is worth having.
The PLAN uses the Type 72 LST, in four varieties/flights/versions.
The latest that the PLAN is building is the Type 072A/B LST, 4,800 tons and 500 tons carry capacity. Sixteen have been commissioned since since 2003, with four of those commissioned recently. This makes sixteen of the Type 072A/B in all.
