Hey dudes and dudettes, these following pics are from the PLAN's first ever port call to Guam on the 22nd of October 2003. The destroyer
Shenzhen (DDG 167) and supply ship Qinghai Hu (AO 885) spent a total of 3 days enjoying Guam...some of these pics are massive, so hope it works!

People’s Liberation Army-Navy guided missile destroyer Shenzhen (DDG 167) into Apra Harbor, Guam.

Despite her modest capabilities, the Shenzhen remains the 'face' of the PLAN having visited more countries and
travelled further than any other PLAN vessel in service. Looks like everyone at Guam turned up for work today...car park looks pretty full!

itsa nice to see both sides engaging in some friendly physical sports. i really think the sailors or the PLAN need to change their uniforms, unless they want to look like prisoners/ chefs instead of professional sailors:roll:

The Qinghai hu also makes a graceful exit. Rear Adm. Xue Tianpei would later say in
the People's Daily Newspaper that this was the most enjoyable deployment of his career.
