I am curious how dose one obtain the more or less accurate number of Chinese SSBNs?

You know there was, is, and continue will be, arguments among more or less experts in the online community, that 1 number of 092 (despite the "current" 094s) didn't actually fit the job of "combat readyness", like - China's second strike capability takes a holyday?

You should add at least the 072 Amphibs into your first post. They are large, capable amphibious vessels, and there are a total of at least 27 of them. Maybe more of the 072-IIIs have been built, I count only 9 and there may be more.

Indeed, the ship is better to be classified as "multi-purpose personnel auxiliary ship" (say, can provide "shore leave" at sea, while also provide certain standard of field hospital, as well as training)

88 is named after 徐霞客 Xu Xiake, named after one of the great geographer in Ming Dynasty, who travelled across most of the empire and keep scientific (more or less, in a matter of speaking) records about geography and cultural conditions of each places he gose.

Fitting, I say.
