i never imagined varyag would look so beautiful whrn it gets fixed up...these desrve to go on sinodefence.

although i would like for china to get varyag as a carrier, have u guys ever wonderd if this is all a diversion scheem to throw the west off trak, while the plan builds an iindegedous carrier in secret?\

golle, the russians have only really used kutznv since 95-96, since it got a major rehaul.

If so...then i would be impressed because PLAN is finally constructing a operational aircraft carrier.

My understanding is, that it is being painted in the official PLAN combatant color. It is more clear on the side photos.

It would be very, very difficult to keep the building of a ship that size a secret. Too many workers, and too few places that could handle it, all under watch from US satellites.

My thoughts were that the red was a primer and that the superstructure is yet to be painted.

nice picture Jeff..however i'm not so sure if that's the military color of the PLAN. I'm not trying to blow anything here. Can someone show another pic of another PLAN unit with similiar color?:china: Thanks
