PLA Navy news, pics and videos

This apparently is the extended-range round for the 130mm gun found on both 052D and 055 destroyers. Specifically, it utilizes folding canards to glide toward targets. With the canards retracted, the range is between 70 and 80km; with canards deployed, the range is over 100km. Terminal guidance is achieved via passive-laser or satellite/inertial navigation.

please don't try to 'keep the score' ... either ignore the account you dislike

(selectively by not reacting to it, or automatically by pressing Ignore),

or seek moderation if something horrendous was posted by it

Actually, I was serious and sincerely trying to help, and he really does need it in order to communicate with us mere, ordinary plebs.

you're in Internet, there's no way you can "help" anybody with anything!!

have the last word if you want (I'm not going to respond); my whole point has been the graphics you post are great so you don't need to fight (or "help", LOL)

You are right, my friend. I should have hit the ignore button, but I could never resist amusements.

Now into phyc-ops. trying to defy the LAWS of PHYSCIS?
You read the link and now trying to save face?
Just be humble, accept and walk away before humiliating yourself further.

What's phyc-ops? Is that a Canadian term local to Toronto or something?

No, YOU be humble because it's clear you know nothing about this projectile but you're pulling numbers out of your behind. Not more than 40km? I wanna see your calculations.

Some old paper on projectile flight written by someone with no knowledge on this particular project is irrelevant to this discussion. The laws of physics don't change, but our understanding of them never stops changing. That is the basis of technological improvement and that is why what was impossible yesterday is possible today; what was thought to be a fantasy can become a reality with new technology. This design team can have a superior understanding of physics than the person who wrote that paper and thus achieve something that the author thought impossible.

That is the reality of physics and this is the reality of your continuous self humiliation resultant from your comically disastrous combination of ignorance and confidence.
