The US is aggravating Taiwan Strait tensions. The PLA Navy must have monitored the situation and has it under control, a military affairs expert said after two US Navy vessels sailed through the Taiwan Strait on Saturday.

According to the red caption, this is a new powered (self-propelled?) rescue bell, which has successfully conducted its first manned deep dive.

Remote controlled submersible for clearing mines. As you can see in the photo, it carries an explosive payload under its belly, which is used to detonate mines.

I don't think "Shandong" is in the stage to do weapons trials yet. But even if it were, Liaoning would have a darker deck surface than the "Shandong".
