PLAN Anti-ship/surface missiles

Apparently this is the ex-YJ-100, now renamed CJ-100, a hypersonic cruise missile.

I imagine it should have a DF designation because in the parade it seems like it will be part of the rocket force.

One of the designations thrown around for it has been DF-20.
Chinese forum call it DF-100. Of course, it could be the invention of the poster.

I believe it has to be DF if it is in service of Rocket Force, DF is exclusively used by RF and the only official name of RF.

IMO, CJ (long sword) is more like an overall program name, variants from the program will gain different PLA service names depending on the branches. DF for PLARF, YJ for PLAN. I am not sure about PLAAF, their variant is K/AKD20, KD being "air to ground" is not really a name like DF and YJ, but rather a function designation. The equivalent designation for DF would have been DD (ground to ground), for YJ it would have been H/AJJxx (ship to ship) or H/AKJxx (air to ship) by PLANAF if we follow GJB. I suspect that the reason of DF and YJ is used is that they are historically unique and therefor being exceptions in GJB.

The rocket force vehicles have ZL prefixes for the parade, I believe.

The supersonic missile vehicles we've seen at rehearsals have ZL.

There may be a slim chance that ZL is not exclusive to PLARF.

ZL is "Zhan Lüe" (Strategic) which includes PLAN's JL-x SLBM. It may get ZL on their trucks if PLAN decided to show it in the parade.

I think I have seen photos where PLAN marines and PLAGF share LZ "Lu Zhan" (land fighting).

Yankee has written a piece about the new large supersonic missile.

There are a few parts of interest:

之前的国产超音速巡航导弹,都属于反舰巡航导弹的范畴,其射程远远达不到四位数。而需要进行上千公里的超音速巡航飞行的新一代“长剑”,在作为一款超音速导弹追求更低阻力的同时,还需要具备足够的升力,这就使得它在气动布局上必然和鹰击-12/18有显著不同。

This part he basically speaks of how older supersonic missiles had ranges that was below "four digits" (i.e.: below 1000km), and also about the need for this new supersonic missile to achieve "1000+km range". (technically 上千公里 could mean "thousands of kilometers" as well)

This part suggests to me strongly that he holds the opinion that the new missile has a 1000+km range. This is not crazy because this missile has been spoken of as a "long range supersonic" missile before, and the sheer size of the missile, missile canister, and TEL it is on, all points to a missile with likely long range.

He seems to suggest that the missile has onboard ECM equipment for the purposes of jamming, and it also has the ability to adjust for enemy ECM more effectively in a manner that previous missiles didn't (it sounds more complex than typical ECCM?). The installation of this equipment being the goal of increasing the probability of penetration of air defenses.

I believe my translation is roughly accurate but I'm open to corrections of course

What does this mean:
而在技战术指标里,又要求其实现与一些中程弹道导弹相当的射程,便于两者配合打击敌陆/海上重要目标。

What does this mean:

Pretty sure he's saying that the new missile has the requirements of being able to approach MRBM range, with the intent of having MRBMs and this new missile jointly strike enemy targets and land or sea.

Also implying that these two different strike profiles are complementary.
makes sense, if this cruise missile sports onboard ECM capability, which ASBM's do not, it can provide that cover for the latter as they approach their target from different angles.
