I am going to become crazy:
remember the first pic, was declared to be from Shanghai - a military vessel side by side to an zivilian ship; you see the ships name "YUAN YUE HU". but this ship - a tanker - should be build in Dalian, these day the ship will have sea trials as I know

And now we got this new pic from Dalian, which should be "birthplace of new chinese carrier" - and there is a ship at the pier (where Liaoning was at least) which could be this "YUAN YUE HU" as I think .... so:
was the first pic mad there in Dalian, not in Shanghai?

Does anyone know where the original from this pic came from? Without the markups and with some explanation.

PLAN-Carrier-II.jpg

The reason I ask is because this pic is closer to what I would expect these earlier phases of construction to look like...particularly when you consider that those two blue areas are positioned pretty well for the two elevators.

The Chinese captions identify the upper photo as the suspected stern of the Chinese carrier and the lower photo for comparison is the stern of the USS Gerald Ford while it was under construction.

Hehehe...well, I knew the lower one was a carrier!

I still do not think we have enough to positively identify the other (upper) as a carrier.

Give it another 3-6 months.
