Huh, that certainly is an interesting photo. However, to me it seems like they're actually paratroopers rather than pilots. They are holding on to parachutes and are hooking up their tethers... seems like they're getting ready for a jump.

I think that is a staged photo. Most of the worlds military paratroopers jump with some sort of eye protection. I.E. goggles. Those ladies have none. Look at their hands. Smooth as silk....Those hands don't do much physical labor...Two of the girls sleeves are not rolled down and properly fastened. If they do jump their sleeves will be flapping in the breeze possibly creating a hazzard. If they are going to jump(and I do not profess to know how the PLA trains it's paratroopers) Generally when you hook up to the static line overhead everybody stands up because you are getting ready to jump. The women in the front are sitting down...

Its pilot training for jump, those are pilot students, not paratroopers, pilot also need to train for jump.

That's a reasonable explanation. Whilst I imagine most training jumps would be accompanied with goggles, it's possible that they're just practicing tether use - maybe jumping from a two-story tower. I remember American paratroopers starting from this sort of basic training in the book 'Band of Brothers'...

OK, here is another photo from the same source with the above one. The label says they are the 8th batch female pilot students who have just finish their basic class.
