It's apparently a missile re-supply vehicle for a certain HQ-XX SAM.

According to one of the CASC director interviewed, HQ-16FE can intercept tactical ballistic missile apart from the normal Aircraft, UAVs and PGMs. The missile looks like a smaller version of HQ-9. Reportedly can even do sideslip manoeuver to hit agile targets.

So, except for HQ-16FE, no other new SAM system had any sort of screen/placard display their stats this Zhuhai? How weird is that?

So no 3-5 missile revealing? Sad

What 203mm gun? And how do we know this is the vehicle that carries it?

Given how the HQ-16FE has a range of 160km with the same size, does this confirm what many have suspected all along? That the HQ-16 intentionally sacrifices range for higher agility than similarly ranged missiles like ESSM?

Or does it simply represent an improvement in PLA rocket and propellant technology?
